Ibrahim Olarewaju Champions Human Capital Development in Ekiti North II
Ibrahim Olarewaju pledges to advance youth development and education through innovative projects in Ekiti North II Federal Constituency.
The All Progressives Congress House of Representatives candidate for Ekiti North II Federal Constituency, Ibrahim Olarewaju, has reaffirmed his dedication to fostering human capital development and promoting the welfare of his constituents and the broader Ekiti community.
Olarewaju, who previously served as Senior Special Adviser to the President on National Assembly Matters, emphasized his commitment to implementing programmes, policies, and projects aimed at enhancing youth development. He expressed a resolute intention to bridge the gap between his people's educational aspirations and the strategic investments necessary to realize those goals.
His remarks came during the official inauguration of a cutting-edge 350-seater Computer-Based Test (CBT), Science, and Technology Centre at Ansar-Ud-Deen Islamic Secondary School, Otun-Ekiti, the candidate's alma mater. This state-of-the-art facility marks a significant milestone in the community's educational infrastructure.
The event also featured the laying of the foundation stone for a comprehensive Science and Technology Laboratory block. This new laboratory was generously donated by Olarewaju and his siblings in honor and memory of their late parents, Alhaji Mohammed Olarewaju Uthman and Alhaja Fausat Aduke Olarewaju. The investment reflects a deep familial commitment to advancing educational opportunities in Ekiti.
The CBT centre project was originally envisioned by the school alumni as a dual-purpose initiative designed to provide hands-on digital training to students while generating sustainable revenue streams for the institution. This approach ensures that the facility not only serves immediate educational needs but also supports ongoing financial viability.
Recognizing the substantial capital investment required, Olarewaju, also the National Organising Secretary of the Ansar-Ud-Deen Society of Nigeria, collaborated closely with the school alumni to establish strategic partnerships with private investors. Through these partnerships, the investors financed the construction and equipping of the facility. They will recoup their investment over time before the ownership of the centre is fully transferred to the school.
This innovative financing model highlights Olarewaju's strategic approach to development—leveraging public-private collaborations to deliver impactful projects that empower youth and enhance educational infrastructure. His leadership underscores a broader vision of sustainable development tailored to meet the evolving needs of Ekiti's younger generations.
By prioritizing investment in technology and science education, Olarewaju aims to equip students with the skills and knowledge essential for success in an increasingly digital and competitive world. His initiatives foster an environment where education is both accessible and aligned with modern industry demands.
Ultimately, Ibrahim Olarewaju's efforts represent a significant stride toward uplifting Ekiti North II Federal Constituency through targeted human capital development, solidifying his commitment to the advancement and prosperity of his community.
